Gazimağusa Türk Maarif Koleji’nden 1997 yılında mezun oldu.İstanbul Üniversitesi, Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi, Tıbbi Biyolojik Bilimler Bölümü’nden 2001 yılında mezun olarak Tıbbi Biyolog unvanını aldı. Hacettepe Üniversitesi, Onkoloji Enstitüsü Temel Onkoloji Anabilim Dalı’nda Temel İmmünoloji yüksek lisans, Tümör Biyolojisi ve İmmünolojisi doktora eğitimini 2001-2007 yılları arasında tamamladı. Eylül 2011’de İmmünoloji bilim alanında Doçent unvanını aldı.
Misafir araştırmacı olarak Almanya’da, Borstel Araştırma Merkezi, İmmünoloji ve Hücre Biyolojisi Bölümü, İmmünoterapi Birimi’nde; İsveç’te, Uppsala Üniversitesi, Biyomedikal Merkezi, Biyokimya ve Organik Kimya Bölümü’nde çalışmalar gerçekleştirdi.
2011 ve 2007 - Türkiye Kanserle Savaş Vakfı, Prof. Dr. Bedii Gorbon Ödülü, 2009 - Prof. Dr. Lale Atahan Klinik Onkolojide Yenilikler Ödülü’nün yanı sıra çeşitli bilimsel toplantılarda başarılı sunum ödülleri bulunmaktadır.
Araştırmaları deneysel onkoloji alanında; tümör immünolojisi, immünoterapi ve kanser mikroçevresi konularında yoğunlaşmaktadır.
