Doç. Dr. Şahin Hanalioğlu, 2010 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nden mezun oldu. Aynı fakültenin Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi (Nöroşirürji) Anabilim Dalı’nda uzmanlık eğitimini 2016 yılında tamamladı. 2017-2020 yılları arasında Ankara Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi'nde uzman hekim olarak çalıştı. Uzmanlığı süresince Wisconsin Üniversitesi (ABD), Montpellier Üniversitesi (Fransa), Harvard Üniversitesi Brigham and Women’s Hospital (ABD) ve Barrow Neurological Institute (ABD)'da kafatabanı, nöroonkolojik ve serebrovasküler cerrahi alanlarında eğitim aldı. 2017-2018 yıllarında Avrupa Beyin Cerrahisi Yeterlik Sınavı’nı ikincilikle ve Türk Nöroşirürji Derneği Yeterlik Sınavı’nı birincilikle geçerek beyin ve sinir cerrahisi alanında ulusal ve uluslararası yeterlik belgelerini almaya hak kazandı.
Amerika Birleşik Devletleri Fulbright Akademik Araştırma Bursu, Türk Nöroşirürji Akademisi Ödülü, Türk Nöroşirürji Derneği Uzmanlık Tez Ödülü, Türk Nöroşirürji Derneği Bilimsel Kongresi Yılın Bildirisi Ödülü de dahil olmak üzere çok sayıda ulusal ve uluslararası ödülleri, uluslararası bilimsel dergilerde yayımlanmış 60'ın üzerinde makalesi, ulusal ve uluslararası bilimsel kongrelerde sunulmuş 200’ün üzerinde bildirisi ve yürütücü/araştırmacı olarak görev aldığı çok sayıda projesi bulunmaktadır. 2020 yılından bu yana Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi (Nöroşirürji) Anabilim Dalı’nda görev yapmaktadır.A.
