Dr. Saribas graduated from Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School in 1988 and Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1994. She completed her specialty education in the Department of Medical Microbiology of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. She carried out studies on tuberculosis immunology in the University of California San Francisco for six months between the years of 2001 and 2002. She became associate professor in 2011.
