He completed his medical education in 1998 at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (English) and started his residency in the urology department of the same university. He worked as a pediatric urology fellow for two years after 2003 in the same clinic. Since 2006, he worked in the urology departmentand pediatric urology division in Uludag University faculty of Medicine. He has been certificated as 'Fellow of European Academy of Pediatric Urology' in 2008. He had the title of associate professor in 2010 and had the right of being 'Specialist of Pediatric Urology' which was approved by Ministry of Health. He had the international experience of pediatric urology by visiting the Innsbruck University (Austria) and Aarhus University (Denmark) in 2011. By 2012, he is the academic member of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Department of Urology and Division of Pediatric Urology. He became the professor of urology in 2015. He is the board member of Society of Urologic Surgery and Turkish Society of Pediatric Urology. He is the active member of Pediatric Urology Guidelines Panel under European Association of Urology. His areas of interest are diagnosis, medical and surgical (open, laparoscopic, endourologic) management of acquired or congenital urologic abnormalitieis of the pediatric age group, renal transplantation and endoscopic stone surgery.
