Dr. Çöteli was born in 1989 in Ankara. He graduated from Ankara Science High School in 2006 and Hacettepe University Medical School in 2013. He studied his cardiology residency training at Hacettepe University Medical School Department of Cardiology between 2013 to 2019. He started working at Ankara City Hospital in 2019 and finished his mandatory service in 2021. He worked at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Medical School Department of Cardiology as an assistant professor between 2021 to 2022. Since 2022, he has been working at Hacettepe University Medical School Department of Cardiology as an assistant professor.

Dr. Çöteli is a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology. He can speak English and German as foreign languages.
