For the 3rd time, our University Hospitals have been accredited by what is considered to be one of the most prestigious accreditation organizations in the world, the Joint Commission International (JCI).

Our institution, which has received accreditation since 2007 for successfully meeting “GENERAL HOSPITAL” standards, has become the first public university hospital in Turkey to be accredited as an “ACADEMIC MEDICAL CENTER” based on the improved “Version 5” standard that JCI put into effect on 1 April, 2014. This ranks Hacettepe University Hospitals among the 10 most prestigious education and research institutions in the world that have received JCI accreditation in this regard.

In the hope that our university, which strives to “Do Better, Advance Further”, achieves greater success in the future, we would like to give our heartfelt thanks to all our former administrators for initiating the accreditation process at our hospitals and the administrative and academic staff and our students for their contributions during the most recent audit.

We are delighted once again to have demonstrated the sustainable quality that Hacettepe can offer as the first public institution to have received JCI Accreditation.
